Naved Ahmed, is the founder, owner and director of Bonobo Pictures.

The love for storytelling and a passion for film making along with an interest in advertising, drove Naved to join a leading ad film production house “Chrome Pictures” back in 2008 as an assistant director. After sweating it out for about 7 years, working and gaining priceless experience with well known directors like Amit Sharma, Hemant Bhandari, Aleya Sen, Nikhil Rao working on several international award winning films for brands like Google, Hero, Mahindra, Honda, Pepsi, Cadbury’s, Visa, Ultratech, Tata Tea, Idea Cellular to name a few, he started directing commercials in-house. His very first directorial venture won him a “Dada Saheb Phalke Award”.

After his successful run with Chrome Pictures, he was invited by Prashant Issar “Sippi” to join “Tubelight Films” as panel director.

Naved spent 5 years at Tubelight, directing several spots for leading brands like Godrej, Tata Sky, Ford, Perfetti, Kellog’s, Kurkure, Massey Fergusson and Britannia.

Finally in 2020, after 12 years in the industry with numerous commercials under his belt and various brand to choose from, Naved formed Bonobo Pictures.Within a year of starting his own production house amidst the pandemic and between lockdowns, he has worked on more than 15 films for brands like Kingfisher, MTR, Godrej, Rebel Foods, The Laughing Cow, Nutralite, Eureka Forbes, Tata Power, Netflix & Lionsgate Play.
